The word jasper in the Greek language (Iaspis) means spotted and strange stone. In the past, the other name of jasper stone in Persian language was Yashp. Historically, it can be considered as a jewel stone in the history of Azerbaijan, Persian, Hebrew, Assyrian and Greek, which has had many fans. Green jasper has been used around 4 and 5 thousand years BC. Since ancient times, they believed that this stone has power and healing properties. On this basis, the ancient Egyptians used jasper in weddings and in making gold and jewelry.
