White rose quartz is colorful and opaque to very pale quartz. White quartz stone has a hexagonal (trigonal) and prismatic crystal system. But mostly it exists in the form of compact masses in hydrothermal veins and pegmatite. These masses mostly have cracks or impurities in them. Rose quartz is a brittle stone with shell fracture and no cleavage, white quartz stone is found in many parts of the world. Many white quartzes are currently being sold. They are from Brazil, India, South Africa and Madagascar. Other sources include Namibia, Mozambique and Sri Lanka, and South Dakota, USA.
